About Little Bear Home Daycare
Our Philosophy
Little Bear Home Daycare believes in supporting the growth and development of each child as a unique individual. We believe in providing a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Our Daycare
Little Bear Home Daycare service is fully licensed (facility #376619877.) Our goal is to provide a family-like environment where children feel accepted and loved while working with parents closely to help each child develop his/ her full potential. We serve organic, non-processed meals and snacks for your children at no additional charge. We offer a spacious outdoor space with mature fruit trees, playground and paved paths for tricycles.
Our Curriculum
While every day is a little different, we love to sing, dance and read stories. Our curriculum is a play-based approach that encourages exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.We also offer daily outdoor play activities with sandbox, tricycles, and fruit-picking. Our sample daily schedule:
- 7:30 - 8:00 AM: Free choice play
- 8:00 - 8:30 AM: Breakfast (Provided)
- 8:30 -9:30 AM: Free choice play (Puzzles, Pretend Play, etc.)
- 9:30 -10:00 AM: Circle time/ Music & Movements or Art and Crafts
- 10:00 - 10:30 AM: Morning snack (Provided)
- 10:30 - 11:30AM: Outdoor play activities
- 11:30 -12:00 PM: Story time
- 12:00 -12:30 PM: Lunch (Provided)
- 12:30 -12:45 PM: Clean up time
- 12:45 - 3:00 PM: Nap time
- 3:00 - 3:30 PM Afternoon snack (Provided)
- 3:30 - 5:30 PM Free choice play (Puzzles, Pretend Play, etc.)
